Orlando Scandrick is an eleven-year NFL veteran and cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles. Orlando began his career in 2008 when he was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. In 2011, the Cowboys awarded Orlando with a six-year contract, a testament to his dedication and hard work for the Blue and Silver. His loyalty to the Dallas Cowboys fans, organization and Dallas community has made him a fan favorite. Originally from Torrance, California, Orlando played collegiality at Boise State University where he started 38 out of 39 games, had 152 tackles, 3.5 sacks and five forced fumbles. Off the field, Orlando has made an impact in his native Southern California community. Each year, his 32 Cares Foundation hosts a 7x7 tournament for area high school that not only showcases top talent, but awards a $5,000 cash prize to the winning team’s athletic department. The event has drawn local and national attention from recruiting media and continues to grow. Orlando also works closely with the Boys and Girls Clubs in both Dallas and Los Angeles, serving as a volunteer and role model to the youth the organization serves.
