What makes me different is that I have had to work my whole life to get noticed. In high school I went to a big baseball school so as a freshmen, I played on the freshmen team, not moved up like a lot and worked way my way to make the Varsity team as a junior. I pitched only about 3 innings as a junior on a State and National Championship team that went 43-1. My senior year I earned a starting rotation spot. Our team was 44-0, I was committed to a community college because I just didn't get the looks from colleges. My senior year, Michigan State saw me pitch and offered me a walk on spot. I took it because that is what I wanted to do. I pitched more than I thought as a Freshmen in college and now have a scholarship. I continue to work and have 3 different pitches and have hit 95mph on my fastball.
