At the age of 2, I was hit by a bus and only had a 2% chance of survival. Well, I am still here! I lost both of my legs but gained a whole new world brought to me through the lens of tennis. I have traveled the world, and I am now a Paralympic wheelchair tennis player, having competed in the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Games representing Brazil. I was the highest-ranked Brazilian Women's Wheelchair Tennis player in the history of Brazil, and have won a gold medal at the 2015 Parapan American Games in Toronto. I am passionate about changing perceptions and continuously pushing my limits through fitness and sport!
