Merril DuAine Hoge (/ˈhɒdʒ/; born January 26, 1965) is a former professional American footballplayer. He played eight seasons at running backfor the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears, retiring after the 1994 season. Since 1996 he has been a football analyst for ESPN television.
