Melique Garcia is a great athlete and overall person. "Self motivated, determined, calm and magnetic" are the words that describe him best. Self motivated- He has always had the mentality to go out and do it. No matter what it is he always finds a reason to pursue what he has his mind set on. He does not need to be told to do the work he just does it. That has never faltered or changed, only grew. Determined- After a major ACL tear setback, Melique has always been determined to prove himself in athletics in that. "no matter what size school you come from you can become a pro and you can become great". Melique since has been spreading that motto to the youth and adults alike. Coming from a small school himself with no opportunities before him he has been paving his own via networking. Calm- He has just a calm personality. He is a quiet kid and lets his talent and abilities do a lot of the talking for him. Magnetic- Along with him being calm he has a personality that a lot try to emulate. He is more than optimistic about any situation and people just gravitate toward him. He has a good aura.
