Born and raised in nearby Oakland, California, Marshawn Lynch began his career with three record-breaking years at running back playing for the California Bears in Berkeley. Lynch was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2007 and has kept the fire burning with the Seattle Seahawks and his hometown Oakland Raiders. In 2012, with the Seahawks, Lynch reached the end zone 11 times by foot and added on one receiving touchdown while averaging five yards per carry. Lynch is known for his power and hustle best displayed in his "Beast Quake" run in the 2011 NFC Wild Card game against the New Orleans Saints. Lynch famously threw off several Saints defenders using pure force on his way to a 67-yard touchdown run. Off the field, Lynch started the Fam 1st Family Foundation which focuses on empowerment and education for underprivileged youth.
