Manteo Mitchell (born July 6, 1987) is an American sprinter who competes in the 200m, 400m, and 4 × 400 m}} relay. He was a member of the USA team that won the gold medal in the Men's 4×400 metres relay at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships. He is now seen in a new sport, Bobsled where he is seeking to make history, becoming only the 7th person in history to medal in both the Summer and Winter Olympics. This feat would also make him the 1st African American male to claim this rare honor.
