Leonard Fournette III is an American football running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. In his early career, he was the 2013 USA Today High School Football Offensive Player of the Year. He played college football for the LSU Tigers and was a consensus All-American selection following his sophomore season. Some experts regarded him as the best player in college football. Leonard then was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the fourth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. After signing with the Buccs 3 seasons later, he became Super Bowl LV champion.
