Born in the golfing haven of Southport, England Lee was encouraged by his father at the age of ten to take up the sport of golf. He topped the Challenge Tour Rankings in 2004 and won his first European Tour title at the 2011 Madrid Masters. He later added a second European Tour win in the late summer of 2015, winning the M2M Russian Open. Lee hails the work ethic and flair of Seve Ballesteros as a big inspiration for his career.
