I started playing golf at The First Tee of Memphis, and received a full golf scholarship to Jackson State University. After college I decided I would work in the golf industry, until I qualified for the US Amateur in 2012. Out of 302 amateur golfers that year I was the only African American. Since then I've set out the pave the way and inspire others.
