We are a world famous 154-year-old sporting institution with a ground that has hosted international cricket since the 1880s. The business has gone through a £60m redevelopment in the last eight years and is now the second largest cricket ground in the UK, with a maximum capacity of 23,500 for cricket, 55,000 for concerts, and 1,800 for conferences and events. There is a 150 bedroom Hilton Garden Inn on site at the stadium operated by the Club, which opened in September 2017. International cricket and concerts continue to sell out and the Club continues to grow T20 audiences at pace. The venue side of the business has also gone from strength to strength, with an award winning conference and events business built around the 1,200 delegate venue The Point. The Club has the aim of being the best place in the world to watch cricket, and with 331 cricket clubs across the county under the umbrella of Lancashire Cricket, has a commitment to grow the game across the North West.
