We are a world famous 154-year-old sporting institution with a ground that has hosted international cricket since the 1880s. The business has gone through a £60m redevelopment in the last eight years and is now the second largest cricket ground in the UK, with a maximum capacity of 23,500 for cricket, 55,000 for concerts, and 1,800 for conferences and events. There is a 150 bedroom Hilton Garden Inn on site at the stadium operated by the Club, which opened in September 2017. International cricket and concerts continue to sell out and the Club continues to grow T20 audiences at pace. The venue side of the business has also gone from strength to strength, with an award winning conference and events business built around the 1,200 delegate venue The Point.
