Β Jason is a mountain athlete who excels at verticality. He practices all disciplines of climbing, backcountry skiing, and alpinism. He trained under Dave Thompson of Uphill Athlete, the most renown alpine training organization in the United States. Jason has climbed all over the American West, the Sierra Madre, and the Alps. He spent summer 2022 climbing in the Sierra Nevada, and will be skiing his way through the Rockies until February. In February youβll be able to find him swinging ice tools in Ouray, Colorado. He and his climbing partner and wife Kate are based in Lander, Wyoming, but spend most of the year in their Sprinter Van chasing powder and climbing mountains. In his spare time, volunteers with Fremont County SAR and is training to become a professional mountain guide.
