GCU Rugby is a top-flight collegiate rugby team officially connected to Grand Canyon University in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. This is a high performance collegiate program. The team trains 6 days per week utilizing best practices from around the rugby world. The team has three paid coaches, two of whom have international level experience. The team has student-athletes from 14 states and is well connected to many of the nation's top high school programs. Despite being a newer program (starting in 2014-2015 season), the team already competes with the top teams in the nation. In addition, the current roster has 8 former members of the USA Rugby High School All-American team and 5 members of the USA Rugby Men's Junior All-American team.
