The East Kent Mavericks are a Canterbury based American football team with players from across the South East. With over 60 Juniors, 100 active members in the senior squad & 200 alumni the Mavericks offer sponsors a great promotional opportunity. The team was formed in 2005 and has grown rapidly, the organisation consists of youth aged 14-16, juniors aged 16-19 and adult aged 19 and over.The adult team won division 1 South in 2012 and is now currently playing in Division 1 South for the 2018 season. The club also runs coaching programs in Kent schools and supplies coaches to assist the Local University teams the Kent Falcons and Christ Church Chargers. In 2005 The Mavericks aims were simple: To enable people from across Kent to experience and enjoy our sport and to grow the team. Recently, however, our aims have changed as we are looking to become Division 1 Champions and compete in Premiership. The Mavericks are a non-profit making organisation and are currently funded by the players and coaches. To compete at the highest levels and ensuring the continued success of the club we need to find local sponsors. There are many ways you can sponsor the Mavericks and we can easily tailor a bespoke package to suit your business depending on level of financial commitment. Donations - Donations to the team can be made for any amount and will be gratefully received. In return for donations we will attempt to get your company name mentioned in local press and can guarantee publicity via game day programs, the Mavericks website receiving over 30,000 hits a year, Twitter and Facebook pages (OVER 3000 FANS and FRIENDS). Jersey Sponsorship - £750 - Put your company name on the Mavericks shirts, on the Mavericks website, on Facebook and in local press articles throughout the year! Junior, Youth or Senior Team Sponsorship - £3000 to £5,000 Sponsoring one of the Mavericks teams will have local and national promotional benefits. As Jersey Sponsorship plus: Company logo, name and contact details on all recruitment publications including 5000 flyers in town centers across East Kent and 100+ posters a year in Gyms and recreation centers. Company logo on team jerseys and merchandise worn by 70+ players and coaches from all areas across the county. An article in local and regional newspapers publicising the sponsorship deal. All non game related media articles such as new player signings, charity and fund raising events will mention the sponsors name (at least one article a month). Other Options would also be available such as Sponsorship for Travel, Game balls, Training Wear, Training Gear, Team Gym Sessions and plenty more. www.ekmavericks.co.uk receives over 30,000 hits a year! The Mavericks Facebook page has over 700 fans and nearly 2000 friends! The team regularly features in local and regional newspaper with a combined circulation of over 350,000 Kent residencies. Over 2500 spectators attended the 2011 championship game with highlights watched be over 5 million on sky. There are currently estimated to be over 35,000 people actively involved with American Football at different levels in the UK many of which will gain awareness of your company and products.
