In the process of doing so, also found time to simultaneously produce an illustrious athletic career garnished with several achievements in the sport of Track and Field. Earning All-American honors 3 times, 2 SEC Individual Championship titles, 3 All-SEC Conference honors, and topping o as a member of the SEC and Ole Miss academic honor roll.
