Why you should sponsor me for your next influencer campaign?

My name is Benjamin Brousseau, I am a 17-year-old local biathlete living in the Bow Valley. I am currently looking for sponsors and partners to support my 2022-23 development and race season. I first discovered biathlon at the age of 12 in 2018. It became an important source of motivation, inspiration, peace and relief. Starting cross-country skiing and biathlon later than most of my teammates meant I had to learn and adapt quickly. Luckily, my reading and writing disorder has shaped me to be an expert at adapting and rising to challenges in all aspects of my life. My first taste of biathlon was with the local Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron, with whom I attended the Cadet Biathlon Nationals in 2019 and 2020. This is where I first positioned myself as a strong and positive leader for Team Alberta, gained multiple medals and recognitions, and demonstrated excellent potential for the civilian racing circuit. The 2019-20 season marked my first year of enrollment and competition with the Canmore Nordic Ski Club. I am now on the Team Trail Sports Development High Performance program with the Canmore Nordic Ski Club. I currently train over 600 hours per year, 6-7 times per week, and attend specific training camps to maximize my endurance and athletic knowledge. I compete in the Youth and U18 categories where I have excelled at the provincial and national levels. My hard work and dedication paid off with multiple provincial podiums, as well as three national podiums this year. 2022 Canadian Ski Championships (Whistler, BC) - 1st place in Interval Start Free Technique (10k) National Biathlon Championships (Prince George, BC) - 2nd place in Single Mixed Relay World Youth/Junior Championship Trials 2022 (Sovereign Lake, BC) - 3rd place in Junior Distance Pursuit (12.5k), 6th place overall This is a quote from Ms. Rachel Koroscil, my Biathlon Coach: “This is my third year of coaching Benjamin. I have no hesitation in recommending Benjamin as an athlete worthy of sponsorship, as I fully believe he has the motivation and talent to excel in this sport.” My goal for the 2022-23 season is to compete and perform at the IBU Youth Junior World Championship, one more step towards my objectives to represent Canada at high-level international races. I see biathlon as a lifelong journey. Yes! I want to perform. Yes! I want to challenge myself on a national and international level, however, I also see myself becoming a coach, a leader and a mentor to younger peers; a source of support for their families. Therefore, I also put tremendous importance on my educational success. The 2022-23 season has many national and international races in store for me. I expect the cost of this season alone to be over $30,000. This amount includes training, equipment, ammunition, provincial, national and international race registration, travel cost, etc. With my successful 2021-22 racing season results, more racing opportunities open up, therefore I am in a stronger position to achieve my goals. While my family understands how rewarding biathlon is and its potential, they are not in a position to invest as much money as I require to compete. Being the second youngest child in a family of six, the financial burden of my sport is significant. To alleviate the situation, I have decided to move to online schooling to finish my high school diploma, train full-time and work part-time. Last year, I was able to save more than $5,000 working locally during the off-season. Every dollar I earned was re-invested into my biathlon career. I am currently looking for sponsorships for the 2022-23 ski season, and I believe your company might be in a position to support me in this endeavor.
