 William joined the Rams basketball program in the fall of 2010 where he was a talented member of a strong class of newcomers to the team. He is a 2010 graduate of Ronald Reagan High School where he earned numerous honors. He was a four-time all-conference honoree and earned All-Triad honors three times. He also earned All-County honors three times and was named to the All-Northwest team twice. He was also named the Frank Spencer MVP. He is a Physical Therapy major and the son of William and Brenda Peay. Aside from his collegiate and personal background, Peay has continued to strive and expand his basketball resume and career. He has done this by participating in his community basketball programs, dabbled in coaching, attending the Whitecox & Lyons pro combine in both Las Vegas and in Atlanta. He continued his journey through the Tobacco Road Basketball League (TRBL) playing for the Greensboro Cobras, attending a private workout for the Dallas Mavericks/Texas Legends, and finally playing in the ABA league for the Fayetteville Flight. His goal is to continue improving and work toward his dream of playing in the NBA, in the meantime that means more ABA stints and possible G-League try-outs.
