Powering U serves as a powerhouse of inspiration and enlightenment to those on their respective personal journeys. Since 2015, we have used this platform to share the stories of great athletes and their motivations, urging others to find theirs as well. We endeavour to take this a step further, allowing others the opportunity to gain insight into these athletes’ motivations through an interactive sports discussion entitled, ‘What Motivates U’. When it comes to MOTIVATION, athletes have been trained to push themselves to another level; leaders are trained to find what motivates a team, and personal motivators drive individuals. But HOW did they get there? What Motivates U is a live show filming athletes telling their respective stories; how they played the game and the role of social media in sports and branding. Utilizing Facebook Live, athletes will share how they’ve overcome the obstacles in their own lives and careers to go on to achieve their professional goals.
