 Roots Premier League is India's first amateur football league, based out of Mumbai India. Other than the fact that everyone at RPL is passionate about football and have played their entire lives, we realise that the game has so much more to offer than just kicking a ball around with friends. It is a way to bond, respect, trust, communicate, become healthier and ultimately aim to achieve more than just the physical aspect the game has to offer. To ensure everyone that participates has fun, feels more confident and finally improve their skills and technique on the football pitch. The Roots Premier League allows players to be drafted through an auction process, have their names printed on jerseys and participate in weekly games that are planned and organised against other teams in the League. This is all over a 3 month period concluding with trophies, presentations and video highlights of the season. It is a proven and tested formula that allows players to flourish, push themselves mentally, physically and gel with their team mates, while all targeting to win the competition.
