A former leading amateur, Robin Petersson turned professional at the beginning of 2017 having spent more than 65 weeks in the world’s top 50 amateur rankings. Originally from the South West of Sweden Robin moved to the US to study and play golf at Augusta University in Georgia where in 2016 he graduated with a Bachelor of Business. Robin enjoyed a highly successful college career winning 4 times in 2015/16 earning MVP Golf, Male Athlete of the Year and Scholar Athlete of the Year. He was ranked as the number 1 putter in College Golf for both Putts per round and Putts per GIR where he received Honorable All-American selection. In 2016 Robin compiled an impressive 10-3-2 matchplay record representing Sweden and Europe in international competition. He helped Europe win the Arnold Palmer Cup (earning the Michael Palmer Award) The Bonallack Trophy and played in the tie for Continental Europe in the St Andrews Trophy. Representing Sweden he won Silver in the European Teams Championship and helped his nation to T-13 in the Eisenhower Trophy.
