Nick is a current opens 100m, 200m & 4 x 100m relay sprinter based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. He regularly trains with his squad at the Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen, and is extremely passionate athlete, having been involved at a young age, he has grown up striving to achieve his potential. Nick has competed at a state and National level since 2011, having twice represented Australia in Oceania Games, and recently for the relay in 2017 FISU World University Games. Nicholas is also coach for many young athletes, including being a sprints coach at Knox Grammar, and various other sprint squads around Sydney. When Nick is not training, competing or coaching, he is at University studying to become a design technology teacher, as he enjoys the craft of building and creation, and wants to encourage the following generations to do something that they are passionate about. Having recently completed a project for his degree, Nick created a large wooden lego man of his athletic idol, Usain Bolt. Nicholas Bate would love to represent a brand that encourages people to try their hardest at athletics and sports. He wants to help others to achieve their best selves. Nicholas lives by the quote 'Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard.' He wants to show the world that it is possible to achieve your goals, if you try your hardest.
