Nadia is a British-Pakistani mountaineer raising the profile of women and minorities in the mountains. Nadia is the second Pakistani woman to finish the Seven Summits, after which she turned her attention to the 8000 meter peaks in 2023, becoming the first Pakistani woman to scale Annapurna I. She also climbed Everest and Lhotse consecutively in 2023. Nadia aims to inspire women, especially those coming from countries with restrictive cultural norms, to explore the outdoors, participate in sports, and shatter glass ceilings. We expect to see Nadia return to the 8000ers, but also expect to see her exploring first ascents and undertaking some technical climbs in the Alps as she continues her climbing journey.
