Kelsey has been a professional triathlete for the last 16 years. From 2001-2013 she focused primarily on short course racing, where she spent 5 years training at he Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. In 2014, while out on a training ride, Kelsey was hit by a truck riding her bike. She was airlifted to Stanford ICU and spent the next week there. She had several injuries and was told she would never race again. Fast forward to 2017 and kelsey has been on the podium every single Ironman 70.3 race with a win at IM 70.3 Victoria and a win at IM 70.3 Manta.
