About Jason Rivera — Northeastern State River Hawks soccer (Football) athlete

Why you should sponsor me for your next influencer campaign?

Soccer is my way of feeling like I was great at something and would help me feel like I didn’t have a care in the world while playing out in the field. I grew up in a single parent home. My mom worked many hours just to support and raise my three siblings and myself in a small apartment. Most of the time we had to find ways to get to school, games and any extracurricular activities because my mom was working. If we couldn’t find rides or it was too far to walk, then we couldn’t attend. I took care of my younger siblings which meant me giving up a lot of things I wanted to do just so I could help them. Additionally, money has always been tight for us since we were on a single income. I never imagined attending a university because I knew we didn’t have the money to pay for school. My options were either to start working after graduating high school to help the family or figure out on my own how to attend and pay for college.
