 SA BASS and FLW South Africa provide tournament partners publicity over a period of 12 months at our tournaments, in SA BASS magazine, on our website and Facebook pages, and groups. On international level FLW tournament fishing can be seen on the Emmy-nominated “FLW" television show, broadcast to more than 564 million households worldwide, while FLW Bass Fishing magazine delivers cutting-edge tips from top pros. Our tournament partners enable FLW South Africa to provide highly competitive tournaments, championships and we provide unparalleled opportunities and entertainment to our members, anglers, sponsors, fans and host communities. The monthly SA BASS Cast-for-Cash bass angling tournament trial has been running since 2001. In 2016 we, SA BASS magazine, got the exclusive licence to run FLW sanctioned bass tournaments in South Africa. Our tournament season is from September to August and our annual bass angling championship attracts top competitive bass anglers from across the country. The two man teams compete for 4 sponsored slots to the Costa FLW Series Championship in the USA. There the anglers represent FLW South Africa on international level against the top FLW bass anglers from the United States, Canada, China, Italy, Mexico, Namibia, Portugal, Spain, South Korea and Zimbabwe. The top international pro- and co-angler will advance to next year's FLW Forrest Wood Cup to compete against the best of the best in America. These tournaments are broadcast live.
