Diego Lopez is a Spanish open water marathon swimmer who is pursuing the first ever "Continents Seven" - a series of seven different solo, unassisted swims that should be completed on all of the seven continents of Planet Earth within one year and that will qualify as a Guinness World Record. He is pursuing the feat throughout 2018, by competing in one of the most revered OWS races in each of the seven continents, including New Zealand, SOuth Africa, Bolivia, Los Angeles, England (English Channel), Hong Kong and the first ever competition in Antarctica waters.
