David 'Caveman' Rickels started his martial arts career when he began wrestling in high school, he took his talents to Butler Community College before deciding to fully focus on becoming a professional Mixed Martial Artist and compete. After compiling a 5-0 record, Rickels was signed by Bellator and has competed in three of their tournaments, making the finals in Bellator's season 8 lightweight division tournament. David Rickels has compiled a record breaking 23 fights with Bellator's promotion and continues to compete in the welterweight and lightweight division. Also while competing he has created his own promotion called 'Evolution Fighting Championship' and continues to raise a family with his wife.
