As a senior he threw for 2,831 yards and 36 touchdowns, earning him California Gatorade Football Player of the Year. Cody would go on to play at the University of Southern California as one of their top prospects. He was a backup to Matt Barkley his freshman year and learned a ton. He went on to start his final 3 years and played well enough to get drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the 2016 NFL Draft. Cody would go on to start 8 games his first year before suffering a concussion, throwing for 1380 yards, 6 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions. Cody would move on to Jacksonville where he started 4 games there going 2-2 in 2018. Cody is now on the New England Patriots and is a backup to the greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady.
