Blake is an inspiring and incredible on and off the ice. She played her collegiate hockey career at Boston College, and became the first African American player in the NWHL on the Boston Pride. Blake is a three-time NWHL All-Star and recorded the fastest shot in 2017 at 87 mph. In 2020, Blake was hired by the LA Kings as a pro scout. She became the very first African-American female scout and only the second-ever female to be a pro scout for a NHL team.
