I was diagnosed with Cancer in 2014 and fought the long battle, eventually beating cancer in 2015. I decided tennis was going to be my motivation and six short years later at the age of 49, I won the USTA 3.5 Women's 18+ Doubles National Championship. I'm currently ranked #1 in the nation for both Singles and Doubles on the USTA NTRP Website. I captained my first team this summer and we won 1st place at Sectionals for USTA League 3.5 and our team is headed to the National Tournament on October 1st in Surprise, AZ.
