Antoine Xavier Adams is a sprinter who was born on the twin-island federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Adams was an exceptional sprinter and excelled at track and field throughout his high school career. After high school Adams realized he needed the proper training in order to succeed in the sport and headed to the United States. In Houston, Adams was introduced to Eric Francis, a certified coach. Francis broke him down and coached Adams to his current personal bests. Antoine has represented Saint Kitts and Nevis on a multitude of occasions, including the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. Adams was the flag bearer for Saint Kitts and Nevis at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
