Chase Budinger was a standout basketball and volleyball player at La Costa Canyon High School. Chase attended the University of Arizona for where he played basketball from 2006-2009 for the Wildcats. After three years of college basketball, Chase was drafted by the Detroit Pistons as the 44th overall pick in the NBA draft. During his professional career in the NBA, Chase went on to play for the Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves for 3 years each. He now makes the transition to beach volleyball where he is partnered with Casey Patterson for the 2019 Pro Tour season. Chase is now Competing in the AVP and preparing for the Olympics in the sport of Beach Volleyball.
