Kiki Van Zanten, originally from Chicago, is a half Jamaican, half American-Dutch, Division 1 soccer player at Notre Dame University. She is an explosive player with a creative style that has earned her a top spot in women’s collegiate soccer. Kiki led her team in goals and points throughout her sophomore season and was named to the 2020 All-ACC Academic Team. During high school, she was a member of the elite U.S. U-17 national team competing globally in China, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, and Mexico. Additionally, Kiki is a three-year volunteer coach with the Buddy Soccer Program and began coaching youth soccer when she realized there were no female coaches for the local girls’ teams. Kiki is a grounded and well-spoken young woman with a passion for activism and community service. She can often be found reading to children in after-school programs or standing up for women’s rights, minority rights, and the under-represented. Kiki is a role model, youth mentor, and rising star with the work ethic and values that are an asset to any brand.
