By working with Kaleb in complete transparency of his life, the project will not only establish Kaleb’s journey from his beginnings with his family, his high school career, and his drive for excellence, but will also capture his story as a collegiate athlete and how he plans to continue making his family proud at the next level. While many may only see Kaleb’s success from afar, this project will focus on his adversity, how he’s overcome it, and why it’s driven him to succeed. To close, capturing Kaleb’s message around mental health and how he’s using his platform to speak, give back, and positively influence fans will be paramount to completing the story. Publishing timeline is dependent upon the development of this project. The series will need in-depth access in order to achieve the transparency needed to present the audience with Kaleb’s story. As production is in process, focus and scope may be adapted to fit the creative standards deemed credible by Athlete Nation. Production and post-production timelines are all subject to discussion. The production plan will utilize cinematic techniques and editing styles in order to deliver high entertainment value for the audience. Featuring one cinematic video story created for online distribution, the story will be told by Kaleb Joseph and will feature head Creighton basketball coach, Greg McDermott. By capturing two individual interviews, unique shots of Kaleb’s day-to-day at various locations, as well as a speaking event + engaging fans, the story will not only introduce his story of adversity and overcoming, but will tell how Kaleb plans to continue his story of success at the next level.
