Founded in 1968, The IMG Academy Junior World Championships, formerly known as the Callaway Junior World Championships, provides juniors from around the world the opportunity to compete against many of the game’s elite young players. One of the largest tournaments in junior golf – with 1,400 total participants from 56 countries & 42 states, the event takes place over 10 San Diego-area courses July 8-14, 2017. Tournament alumni include Tiger Woods, Jason Day, Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson and Lorena Ochoa. All 1,400 players and their families attend registration weekend and opening ceremonies at Torrey Pines July 8-9, providing a great platform for brands to engage on-site. Affluent demographic of families from over 50 different countries.
