 As a dedicated and accomplished professional soccer player in Italy, I've consistently demonstrated unwavering determination and perseverance in the face of unparalleled challenges. With dual American and Italian citizenship, I've had the privilege of playing in Italy for several years, as well as in England and Ireland. Beyond soccer, my passion for health and fitness has led me to study kinesiology, functional fitness, and strength and conditioning. However, my life took a dramatic turn a couple years ago when I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, a chronic condition requiring strict dietary discipline and ongoing medical care. Forced to step away from the game, I prioritized my health and dedicated myself to understanding my body. Through this journey, I've come to realize that our health is the foundation of our performance, yet it's often neglected as athletes.
