My names Hallie Huth, I play volleyball and am a nursing major at Lander University. I have been playing volleyball since I was nine years old. When I graduated high school, I earned the Volusia/Flagler player of the year award. I then played for Daytona State College my freshman year as an outside hitter, however I ended up injuring my shoulder and had three tears, which occurred in our preseason tournament. I played through my injuries, never stopped practicing and our team made it to states that year. I had a major surgery the week following our final game. I went through a tremendous amount of physical therapy and workouts to be back after a short four months. I then transferred to Lander University to play volleyball in January of 2021. I have a huge passion for this sport, and will do everything in my power to become a better person and player than I was the day before.
