 My name is Sara Knight and as top Obstacle Course Racer, I would be a great choice for sponsorship. Last year I placed top 10 in every race I entered, placing 2nd at World's Toughest Mudder (a 24 hour event where I ran more than 70 miles and completed more than 350 obstacles). I also placed 6th (3rd American female) at the Spartan Race World Championships. I have been seen on podiums and with my off-season training will be a prominent figure at the top of my sport. Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) is the world's fastest growing sport with TV spots on NBC, Esquire, and ESPN and sights on the Olympics. The current World Championships are events lasting around two hours, over approximately 15 miles of ski mountain terrain and around 30 obstacles to complete. The 24 hour events are even more grueling, with athletes completing 50 -100 miles. These athletes are all about energy and everything extreme. My unique position of being a top athlete, mom, and business owner is the perfect combination to bring your brand to millions of OCR fanatics. I have a good Facebook Twitter and Instagram following, as well as those that appreciate my recommendations through my Obstacle Training business: Obstacle Elite. People that participate in OCR are generally in the mid to high-income household range and appreciate quality. They don't mind getting dirty and spend a lot of time in the great outdoors. I would be a great marketing tool to this audience. In exchange for product promotion through media hashtags and pictures of my training and racing, as well as wearing your logos, I only need a small monetary support. I plan on racing the Toughest Mudder series with is six 8 hour obstacle course races across the globe. Each race costs $200 to participate and then I have travel expenses as well (lets average that to $500/trip) which would total a $4,200 need for the 2017 racing year. This is a small investment since you will be getting free coverage by CBS (covering each race with a 1 hour special) as well as on other networks as I fill my schedule with other races.
