I am a world class sumo wrestler. I compete in the light heavyweight division, which is 253 pounds. Most recently, I won the U.S. National Championships in June of 2021, and the North American Championships in December of 2021. As a result, I have qualified for the U.S. World Team, and I will be competing at the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, AL. I train at least five times a week. Predominately, my training consists of strength and conditioning training with certified strength and conditioning coaches. Most recently, I completed some maxes in my strength training. I performed a 300 pound clean, 370 pound bench press, 535 pound back squat, and 575 pounds on barbell deadlift. Sponsoring me can give a brand exposure in an untapped market within the United States and around the world. Although it is growing, the sumo community is more obscure than most sports. So, this gives a company an opportunity to have exclusive appeal within the sumo world. Also, sponsoring a high-level sumo wrestler will provide a company with an opportunity to grow with the sport of sumo. Sumo wrestling is a sport with potential mass appeal. Sumo matches are short, quick, and explosive. There is something about two grown men hitting each other as hard as they can, and intensely wrestling that the average American finds appealing. Therefore, this provides a company an opportunity to grow with the sport of sumo, which can lead to additional marketing opportunities (i.e., tournament promotions, etc.). As a result, a company's brand can potentially be synonymous with sumo wrestling. Additionally, I am currently in school working on my doctorate in psychology. Sponsoring me can provide us with an opportunity to foster a relationship for potential long-term benefits. Meaning, a sponsorship can be the beginning of an opportunity for me to find a long-term role with a company, and contribute more to the company's overall mission. This will allow the company to benefit from my years of education and understanding of scientific concepts of psychology as they can potentially apply to the company's mission.
