Adam is currently the face of the New Jersey Devils organization and the team's Assistant Captain. Adam is know for scoring one of the greatest goals in franchise history, in overtime of Game 6 in the 2012 Eastern Conference finals against their rival New York Rangers, Adam scored the series winning goal to send the Devils to the Stanley Cup Final. He was selected by the Devils in the third round, 82nd overall, at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
